The White Death Streamer Fly - 2 Pack gives Great Lakes steelhead anglers a proven white zonker pattern for dead-drifting slow through long pools, calm runs, and other holding water where fresh chromes and lake-run browns slide in on the feed. First created by steelhead angler Jeff Blood, this modified streamer uses a 1/8 in. white rabbit strip, mylar tubing, and orange and black thread on a heavy-wire Daiichi hook to suggest an Emerald Shiner, one of the key forage species steelhead see in Great Lakes tributaries. More specifically, it matches a dying or lifeless shiner near the streambed, which is why it shines when fished slowly like a nymph along the bottom. Run it solo as a search pattern or trail it behind an egg fly or sucker spawn when you want to show opportunistic steelhead and trout a larger secondary target in the drift.

- Fish it slowly on a dead drift along the bottom of long pools and calm runs
