The Temple Fork Outfitters Pastime Trout & Panfish Spinning Rod gives anglers frustrated by sluggish blanks and short-range casts a responsive, fast-tipped option that excels with tiny jigs and light line. This TFO ultra light trout rod gives you tactile feedback and control when you're working small creeks for wild trout, tossing hair jigs to bedding gills, or any time you need precision without the clunky weight and mushy blanks found in cheaper panfish rods.

The Pastime's Toray high-modulus carbon fiber blank transmits vibrations cleanly, letting you detect pressure bites under a float or subtle pickups on a dead-stick jig. The Seaguide Atlas SS304 stainless guides have a triangular frame that cuts friction up to 25%, giving ultralight lines the clean exit they need for distance and accuracy. Minimalist cork and EVA grips pair with American Tackle's Feel-Thru reel seat to connect your fingers directly to the blank for better sensitivity in your trigger hand. The green pearlescent finish is subtle but distinct, and with five lengths and powers to match everything from dockside bluegill to stocked trout, the Pastime lives up to its name as a rod built for what you love to do most.
