The Tag Alder Tackle Dickey Rod Saver offers a simple, reliable way to keep your ice fishing rod-and-reel combo from vanishing down the hole when a fish hits while you’re not right at the setup, using a threaded leg and spring-loaded safety arm to secure the rod between the handle and first guide until the strike triggers the release.
