So far line has held up. Stays limp an few break offs. Pretty good test to diameter ratio also
Love this line

I use this line for stream trout fishing as well as bass fishing in local lakes. I favor the 4 lb test line which casts smoothly and has a smaller diameter than most other lines. I have fewer break offs and the knots snug down securely.
Great Line

Used to swear by Trilene XL because I find limpness of line to be very important. After snapping the line on hook set a couple of times with Trilene, I switched to this Japanese line. It's limp and strong. Excellent line at a good price.
great line for topwater

Sunline is great line I like the dark green for mono that I can identify easy. For topwater and crankbaits. Has a little more strech than Fcarbon and wont lose as many fish on hard baits. Join propatterns and watch pros on tour prefishing. It will help you all.ThanksBob Mings mercury pro team / Phoenix boats / Eberlin Marine / Pro Patterns / [@]

Best Monofilament for light spinning
by Riverron -
I've used Sunline for nearly a year, casting 1/32 to 1/16 oz jigs for perch and crappies from shore, canoe, and small boat. It has been very manageable and virtually tangle free. That is why I purchased more Sunline, even though it costs a bit more than many other popular monos.
The best

I have been fishing for 55 years and this monofilament line is without a doubt the best by far! i
Great Line

Seems like a great line. Will Know more by summers end. May be my new go to line.
Pretty good
by bogeyjoker -
Great castability, low memory and easy to handle. However, using it with a spring float, I was a bit disappointed in the abrasion resistance of it. The line thinned a great deal where the float was attached and broke a couple of times. I've never seen this happen with other lines. I ended up adding a 4' section of fluoro leader to protect it. Otherwise, I really like this line.

Sunline 16# super mono

Haven't used to fish yet, but the knots seem to be strong and the line seems to be subtle.
Great trolling horrible abrasive resistance

I have used this for trolling in Lake Erie and it has been great. I also put it in my casting rods thinking it would be good since the line does cast well but casting cranks in the rocks beat up the line worse than any line I have ever used. Cut off and retied every time I changed lures and lost my favorite crank to a small bass that never should have broke off when it jumped. I will be taking this line off every reel that is not for trolling.
