The St. Croix Tannic Musky & Pike Fly Rod answers the demands of apex freshwater predator anglers with powerful tapers, advanced materials, and musky-specific ergonomics built to handle the heaviest flies and harshest conditions. Designed for efficient delivery of large sinking lines and oversized streamers, the blank features reinforced tips for powerful animation and boat side control. A high-performance carbon matrix blending SCIV, SCIII, and SCII materials is strengthened with Mito Graphene for increased hoop strength, enhanced loop stability, and accurate, high-load casting. St. Croix’s IPC, ART, FRS, TET, and SPF technologies work together to improve blank recovery, boost long-term durability, and provide consistent action under pressure. Premium components include American Tackle Ti Forged tangle-free black titanium stripper guides with ceramic inserts, black stainless Nanolite single-foot running guides, a machined aluminum up-locking reel seat, and a hook keeper. Custom Cactus Cork handles with composite accents and extended fighting butts provide grip, comfort, and leverage for demanding hooksets and figure-eights. Protected in an aluminum rod tube with a rod sock, the Tannic Musky & Pike Fly Rod is the serious solution for anglers targeting giant fish with precision and confidence.
