SemperFli Suede Chenille keeps small patterns slim while still giving your fly a smooth, “buggy” body, so trout, steelhead, and salmon flies stay proportional on smaller hooks and mini profiles. This ultra-fine suede chenille measures 0.04 in., avoiding the bulk that standard suede chenilles can add to mini nymphs, dry fly bodies, and compact streamers, and it also works as a quality alternative material for squirmy wormies when you want a clean, consistent body. Wrap it once to refine smaller flies, then add a second wrap when the recipe calls for a thicker body, and singe the ends to taper detached bodies for patterns like the Mini Montana Intruder. SemperFli pressure dyes and prepares it for vibrant color that runs to the core, and each card provides about 4 yards of material for tying a wide mix of bugs and lures.
