SemperFli Flat Braid is a very thin, tightly braided metalloplastic ribbon that creates delicate, translucent bodies with a refined texture. The Flat Braid, with a 1.5mm or 1/16 width, is ideal for tying small to large salmon, streamer, and saltwater flies. It is a sturdy braid that is easy to knot and can be manipulated by twisting it to form cords or fraying it to produce flashy or fluorescent fibers. SemperFli Flat Braid is a fantastic material for bonefish, salmon, and saltwater patterns.

This SemperFli braid is extremely strong and ties in easily. Use as bodies for your trout and predator flies, try as ribbing on tubes, or if you're into the more traditional English way of dressing flies, wrap around Waddingtons. Combined with varnish, Flat Braid lends itself to producing stunning fish-like bodies. Alternatively, Flat Braid can be teased apart to resemble shucks or tails on larger dries, as well as on larger Clousers or streamers.
