Details

Regal Travel Vises make it easier than ever to take your vise along, where ever you go. The newly designed base has been reduced in length and weight but still offers a solid tying platform. These vices weigh in at approximately two pounds. The reverse goose neck stem keeps the fulcrum of the vise centered over the base providing a true rotary motion. The unique design of the Regal heads consistently holds the hook in place better than any of the competitive vises on the market, allowing for immediate change in hook sizes with absolutely no adjustments required.

Choose from the following models:

  • Traditional Head - has been the workhorse of Regal fly tying equipment for many years. This jaw fits hook sizes 22 to 1/0.
  • Midge Head - has been specially designed for tying small flies as small as size 32 and as big as size 6. The ergonomically designed forefront provides the tier the comfort of tying small flies but allows for tying traditional sized flies as well.
  • Big Game Head - specifically built to tie saltwater and large freshwater flies from tarpon to billfish, pike, musky, salmon, and bass. It can accommodate hook sizes from size 22 to 5/0, and features two hook grooves machined into one side of the jaw. It holds large hooks extremely secure yet allows for tying hooks as small as size 22.
  • Stainless Steel Head - has the smallest profile head in the Regal line of vise heads. The jaw is manufactured from heat-treated stainless steel that allows for machining the small profile yet maintains the durability expected in a Regal Vise. This jaw is versatile and accommodates hook sizes from 32 to 2 making it the trout fisherman's dream vise.

Regal Travel Vises are made in the U.S.A.

Packaging

I ordered the Regal Travel Vice for my son for Christmas. It arrived in a plain cardboard box with many pieces inside. I cant tell if all the pieces are there or if some are missing. Guess we'll find out after he gets his gift. There was no professionally designed packaging, just a cardboard box that looks like someone sent it from their garage at home. Extremely disappointed.
