The Rapala X-Light Pencil brings easy walk-the-dog topwater action to finesse fishing for bass, trout, panfish, perch, and other freshwater predators feeding on small baitfish. Its streamlined 2 in., 1/8 oz. body casts long and tracks true for its size, giving anglers better reach around shallow flats, creek mouths, docks, grass edges, and schooling fish. Short twitches make the lure slide side to side across the surface, creating a compact fleeing-forage look that draws strikes from fish feeding up. Two #10 hooks finish the bait with the right size and bite for light-line topwater presentations.
