A good buy
The twist clips are far easier to use than the fly clips. If you're fishing streamers, you can switch flies in seconds. Which is fantastic especially during the winter months. The clips are more difficult to use, which is why I subtracted one star. You have to angle your fly just right on the clip, all the way down, and use a little force. Still, a significant time saver, especially if threading your tippet through the eye of a size 18 fly is a challenge. As for the review that claims your line "slips right out of your eyelet", I have made 100s of casts with the clips and the twists and that has never happened to me. I have landed large fish that destroyed my flies and the clips and twists came through the battle just fine. Bottom line, if you're a streamer guy, the twists are awesome. If you're not, the clips are good, not great, but you should pick them up if your eyesight isn't what it used to be and/or you hate tying knots all day long when switching out flies.
RIO Fly Clips
Neat idea but every one I’ve used flew off my line by the 5th cast. Line slips right out of eyelet. Awaiting a response from RIO.
