The Nichols Lures Bass Mafia Big Larry Spoon was designed in conjunction with BASS Elite Pro Chris Zaldain to develop a premium big spoon. The Big Larry flutter spoon for bass triggers bites in offshore schooling situations, thanks to its exaggerated cupping for enhanced cradling action on the fall. However, the Big Larry Nichols Lures flutter spoon's main benefit is the heavier thump it produces when stroked. Look, it's no secret that game fish are attracted to flash. Mixing that flash with a sudden cut in the water with vibration will trigger vicious strikes. While you can use the Big Larry bass spoon throughout the year, perhaps the best time to get the big game fish to attack is on hot summer days when they don't want to chase. Nickel-plated brass lends the right spinning and shimmy to its 6.5" large gizzard shad profile. The natural pause on the fall and erratic vertical action right into the face of the school often triggers the biggest bass in the area to take the first shot.
