The C53SAP Heritage hook presents a straight eye and a long curved shank that benefits the tie for long curved nymph patterns. Additionally, the 3X long shank lends itself perfectly for creating the dry fly terrestrials that can be so effective as those insects start appearing on the water. Mustad Heritage series fly hooks feature TitanX nano-coating. The sleek, gun-metal matte finish is 50% more rust-resistant than those used on prior Mustad fly hooks and improves penetration.
Mustad did away with the plastic bags for its fly tying hooks and uses bio-based 100% biodegradable plastic boxes that stack easily.
