Product Details

The Mepps Comet Mino is deadly on most game species, including panfish, trout, and bass. Comet Minos, carefully airbrushed to ensure realism, swim as erratically as wounded bait fish, marking them easy prey for predators. Gold blades are polished brass, and silver blades are genuine silver plated. Fish at mid-depths – you never know what may strike! You may never have as much fun with one lure as with a Mepps Comet Mino!

  • Perfect for casting or trolling
  • Run at mid-depth to mimic a wounded baitfish
  • A versatile lure for a wide range of game fish:
    • Size #0 and #1 - panfish, crappie, perch, white bass
    • Sizes #0, #1, and #2 - trout and grayling
    • Sizes #1, #2, and #3 - steelhead, rainbow trout, char, sauger
    • Sizes #2, #3, and #4 - brown trout, pickerel, smallmouth bass, walleye, bowfin, lake trout, largemouth bass
  • Quantity per pack: 1

I used these as a kid

I used these as a kid 25 years ago. Now that I have kids of my own I had to get more for pier casting for trout. Spinner still works great on spring brown trout.

I fish this in bass lakes and it produces like crazy. My brother caught a 20" and 17" largemouth last year on the Mepps Comet. The 5/16th oz. is the size we usually use. Crappie and channel cats will hit it, too. We've been using this lure for 25 years and it never disappoints.
