Great rod for the price

Nice action, good flex. Had the opportunity to land a 30" steelhead the first time I used it. All around good rod, especially for the price.
What a deal !!!

I purchased this rod late in the steelhead season, since my purchase I have landed over 20 steelhead ranging from 3 to 10 lbs.. The sensitivity is great and the rod can take what ever you dish out, extremely light weight rod that you would see in a more expensive rod. I plan on purchasing another rod in the near future, I was using the 10' 6" Lamiglas X-11 spinning rod.

I havent had a chance to fish this rod just yet. From what I can tell its exactly what I was looking for. A quality rod with a sensitive and flexible tip section and enough backbone to direct a fish to where I want it to go. Might have given it a higher rating if I had fished it. The price was right and with free shipping it was even better. I cant wait to fish this rod in a few weeks.
Go To Rod

I purchased the 10'6'' rod rated for 6-12 lb. line. I have other rods rated 4-8 lb. The noticeable difference is lower 1/3 of the blank power. Softer rod actions for float fishing take some getting used to. I understand the shock absorbing purpose of a rod, but with this rod I like the "turning power" I have. Rod action-power curve are ideal to 8-10 lb. line. I have used this rod with both spinning and center pin reels. I fish a small river -5 to 15 lb. fish -and 10'6" is ideal for both types of reels. Good rod- a go to- as I head out for "a session".

Good value for your $$

Own several Lamiglas Rods. The X-11 is a great value for your dollar. Caught many Steelhead with mine.
Just tested the 7'9 twitch X-11 and loved it. Very light setup and perfect for twitching jigs. Not the strongest rod out there but good enough for pink salmon, coho, steelhead and maybe smaller sized chinooks.
