Excellent Center Pin Reel

by

Dropped by FishUSA and the friendly and knowledgeable folks there suggested that I take a look at this reel. I had been using an Islander Steelheader for over a decade. Decided to pick this one up and am very glad I did. This is an excellent center pin reel for the money. Nothing at all wrong with the Islander, but this reel is bigger and feels more substantial—especially with a fish on. My 13' float rod feels more balanced with this larger reel also. I have used The Imperial on local tribs exclusively during 2018 and it's been a solid performer in all water and weather conditions. Highly recommended.
