When Chinook and coho salmon lock onto a flashing trolling presentation, the Hawken Simon Soft Hoochie Spinner brings proven components together in a hard-working salmon rig. Anglers also know this lure as the Simon Mono Spinner, a classic hoochie spinner that pairs a soft Yamashita squid skirt with a Simon 3.5 Colorado blade for a strong combination of flash, vibration, and skirt movement. Hawken Fishing rigs each spinner with two 3/0 Gamakatsu Octopus hooks to support dependable hookups when salmon strike from behind. Maxima 40 lb. Ultragreen monofilament supplies the strength needed for demanding trolling spreads and powerful fish. Proven salmon-catching colors give anglers effective choices for clear, stained, deep, and low-light water while trolling Great Lakes fisheries, coastal waters, and salmon rivers.
