The Greys Kite Switch Fly Rod at 11' 1" is a versatile compact two-handed rod that casts easily when chosen as a single-handed weapon in search of raising fish. Offered as 6/7 wt., 7/8 wt., and 8/9 wt. models, the TPSF (Two Part Shaped Fly) handle on the Kite Switch provides leverage in tight quarters for spey casting while allowing overhead casting in more open areas. Smaller and lighter than a traditional long-armed spey rod, the Greys Kite Switch is perfect for fishing all day with less fatigue and along brush-choked banks where roll casting is the norm.

The medium-fast action Kite Switch Rod adopts the high intermediate modulus Greys Toreon rod blank used in all Kite fly rods for refined and reliable performance. The Greys rod includes section alignment dots, model ID captivated slide band alloy reel seats, and AAA-grade cork handles. Lined stripper and single-foot circular guides help keep your fly line off the blank. Odds are, you've done a little research about fishing with switch rods to land here. If you're ready to try it or want to add a more than capable option to your quiver, choose a Greys Kite Switch Rod.
