Anglers who struggle with bite detection on long casts in clear, pressured water will find the Great Lakes Finesse CX Spinning Rod answers with extreme sensitivity and reach. This finesse spinning rod is built on a high-modulus X-Carbon blank that transmits soft takes even at the end of a long cast, giving you control with light line across open water or when fishing tight to deep cover. Its AT Microwave Air guides reduce guide weight and line slap, allowing your baits – hair jigs, spybaits, or finesse plastics – to launch far with accuracy. Ideal for vertical hover presentations or mid-strolling offshore structure, the CX gives you every advantage when fish get picky.

The custom one-piece Ergo Carbon handle transfers feedback directly to your hand while eliminating the dampening effect of cork or foam. Available in three purpose-driven models (7'4" ML, 7'8" ML, and 7'8" MH), the CX lineup covers drop shotting, dragging tubes, finesse jigging, and more, with parabolic tapers that protect light line but still drive the hook home. A true finesse fishing rod built for pressure situations, the CX gives you full control of your presentation and the leverage to land the fish. The matte black finish cuts weight without coatings and keeps the rod under the radar in shallow, high-vis conditions.
