The Garmin GPSMAP 1523xsv Chartplotter commands the helm with an ultrawide 15-inch in-plane switching IPS display that fits a range of layouts, including modern “floating display” configurations, while keeping charts, sonar returns, and radar overlays sharp and easy to interpret. Offering a sleek aesthetic in an ultrawide edge-to-edge glass format, this advanced 15-inch chartplotter expands your perspective at the helm with a screen that measures 74% wider and delivers more pixels than a standard 9-inch chartplotter for enhanced viewing clarity. Preloaded Garmin Navionics+ charts on select models help you follow contour breaks for walleye, set trolling paths for salmon, and navigate coastal structure with confidence. Built-in sonar capabilities (transducer required) show what sits below your boat, supporting detailed views of bait schools, rock piles, and ledges, while advanced network connectivity links radar, autopilot, cameras, and multiple displays into one integrated marine system. Digital switching and OneHelm integrations connect compatible third-party devices through a unified interface, while remote access tools let you manage and monitor your marine experience from nearly anywhere.
