The G. Loomis NRX+ Switch Rod provides a happy medium perfect for difficult fishing situations! Long Spey rods are unsuitable for fishing in the type of brushy cover that kills the D-loop of your roll cast, and single-handed rods are often not powerful enough to shoot heavy nymphs to a far seam in a river or heave shooting heads into the surf. The 11-foot, four-piece, fast-taper NRX+ Switch Rod has just the right specifications needed to get the job done under these sorts of challenging conditions! Each switch rod incorporates G. Loomis' Mega Modulus+ graphite matrix and GL8 resin system and is fashioned with Multi-Taper Design, a technique that places more material on possible breakpoints (and less elsewhere) and pinpoints precise actions. NRX+ Switch displays the power, line speed, and loop stability of a fast switch rod without losing any touch all the way through the cast. Remember, the tools you use often make the difference; position yourself to succeed with the G. Loomis NRX+ Switch Rod!
