The G. Loomis GLX Spinning Rod series offers specialized models for spin jig, drop shot, and jig and worm techniques. This series is built on the foundation of G. Loomis's dedication to innovation, showcased through the use of high-modulus graphite and advanced resin technologies. These materials come together to create G. Loomis spinning rods with exceptional strength-to-weight ratios, superior balance, and increased sensitivity. The GLX series is crafted using a unique multi-taper design, which involves "stepped mandrels" with micro-tapers at strategic points along the rod. This technique not only enhances durability by reinforcing potential failure points but also fine-tunes the flex patterns to suit specific angling actions. Each rod in the GLX series is equipped with Fuji K SiC guide trains for improved line management and reduced weight, complemented by premium-grade cork handles and custom CI4+ reel seats for a comfortable grip and heightened sensitivity. Handcrafted in Woodland, Washington, the GLX Spinning Rods offer versatility across various fishing conditions, whether targeting bass with a jig and worm, precision drop shotting, or employing spin jig techniques.
