The Fishpond Confluence Net Release 2.0 is a complete magnetic net release system that provides 11 pounds of pull force, keeping your Nomad net close and always at the ready! Designed with the quality and attention to detail you expect from Fishpond, it's easy to set up the Confluence Net Release. Fishpond's next-generation Confluence Net Release is the perfect accessory!

I like to keep my landing net loop upright on my back, and this system allows for that set-up. The magnet is strong, yet releases easily with a quick tug. I accidentally put the cord to the test when my net slipped from my fingers and it went rushing downstream while I was fighting a lake-run brown trout. The cord held then and during my one-handed gathering to retrieve it against that strong current. Happy to have had it and keep my landing net. (And get the fish, too!)
