First set of planer boards i have ever used. Super simple to use. Straight out of the box, no special clips or anything needed to fish.

I have used other brands when fishing with friends but these are the first set that I've owned. Bought this brand because I fish alone a lot and there are times when you need to get the lines away from the boat! Tried them out for the first time the other day and they worked great. Fished them on my shorty rods and taking them off by myself while still maintaining tension on the fish was easy! Awesome boards, worth the money no doubt! The flay system worked great also, and love the flag-up design when fish bite!

I had heard great reviews of the DW Ninja side planers. I've used the Church Tackle walleye boards for years but thought I'd take the recommendations I've read and get some of these DW boards. They are pretty easy to attach to the line, and to disconnect. They track pretty well, but ride heavy in the water, especially with lead core or weighted lines. I think they are good side planers, but their heavier weight compared to similar side planers will keep me from switching over to them completely. I bought 6 of them, but should have bought two to try first before going "all in",,,,
