    Picked up this rod for $149 and after spending the day with it, it has easily moved to my favorite river rod for the waters I fish. The action feels smooth and loads nicely. I am a first year fly fisherman but the accuracy of this rod for me in the 20-40' range was exceptional. A very quality built rod and light weight with the basic performance needed to build confidence without spending a fortune. Great value paired with a great warranty at a superb price point

Its a pleasant rod to cast, it handles small tippets and flies well, its versatile, and its not as heavy as other entry-level rods. Pair this with the usual Douglas build quality and you have a rod thats great for someone just starting in the sport, or the angler looking for a rod thatll stand up to abuse in the backcountry.
