Daiwa Presso Ultralight Spinning Pack Rods feature superior ultralight actions. The Presso series rods have a great combination of casting power with light lures and shock absorbing action to handle strong fish on ultra-fine lines. Presso Ultralight Spinning Pack Rods feature dark graphite blanks with black thread wraps trimmed in metallic orange with Minima black ring guides.

    I love this rod. I've fished with it a few times and I like the sensitivity and the convenience of being able to break it down and put it in a case. I paired it with a 1000 size diawa fuego and it is a perfect combo. I got the 4 pc 6'6" version.

    Ive used this rod a lot for three days. I really like it. I havent packed it in anywhere yet. I might take it in a kayak on a white water trip. Nervous about that. I wish the case was rigid.

    I have the 5'6" UL, paired with a JDM Revros Super Shallow spool bought from a Japanese website. For $160, I have the UL setup of my dreams. This little rod can cast farther than any other rod I own, and the lure rating of 1/32 to 1/4 oz is accurate and truthful. With 3 lb test line, it handles better than I ever expected. And of course, you can pack it in a carry-on bag or a small backpack.

    This 56 travel rod casts farther than my 7 ft two piece rods. It is the rod I choose for casting small baits a long way. I use 3 lb. test on a shallow spool ultralight Daiwa Revros (JDM version for $80). The only negative: the cork handle is cheap and starts to crumble a bit after just 6 months. Put some Cork Seal on it from the start to protect the handle. But I love it a much, Im going to buy another, maybe try a longer two-piece version.
