The Crappie Monster Small Fry baits are roughly two inches long in various colors with the requisite thin wispy tails that entice movement and plump, glittery bodies that attract the crappie bite. This is a best-in-class soft plastic crappie lure that mimics the appearance and movement of small fry fish and should be used when targeting crappie during their pre-spawn phase in the spring, the time of year when crappie concentrate their feeding on the young of sunfish, shad, and darters. The Small Fry crappie bait presents the perfect action when retrieved slowly or when used on a vertical jigging technique.
