Wapsi Coyote Hair features distinctive variegated coloration with black, brown, cream, and gray guard hairs that create lifelike hair wings on streamers and traditional salmon or steelhead flies. The long guard hairs also dress treble hooks effectively, adding profile and motion to spoons and in-line spinners for salmon, lake trout, and pike. Beneath the guard layer, tan and gray underfur blends into excellent nymph dubbing that builds buggy bodies for stoneflies, caddis larvae, and attractor patterns. Each approximately 6 sq. in. patch gives fly tiers versatile natural material for wings, hook dressings, and dubbing blends in both coldwater and warmwater applications.
