The Cortland Guide Series Fly Rod gives trout anglers a fast action, lightweight 4-piece graphite platform that generates tight loops, strong line control, and confident hooksets on rivers and stillwaters. Load the rod quickly for accurate dry fly casts to rising brown trout, drive nymph rigs through deeper runs, and manage longer leaders with authority during technical presentations. An aluminum reel seat with dual locking reel seat nuts secures your fly reel firmly in place, while the 10' 4 wt freshwater model features a down locking reel seat to enhance balance during extended drift and indicator fishing. Each rod includes a durable Cordura rod tube for protected transport and storage between trips to tailwaters, freestone streams, and backcountry lakes.
