The Clouser Minnow - 2 Pack gives anglers a proven baitfish streamer that crosses over from trout and steelhead water to bass rivers, salmon runs, and saltwater flats with the same fish-triggering action. Originally developed by Pennsylvania guide Bob Clouser on the Susquehanna River for smallmouth bass, this pattern has become a go-to attractor fly because the oversized dumbbell eyes drive the nose down and make the fly dart like an injured baitfish on the retrieve. Keep the rod tip low and strip it in arm-length bursts with sharp pauses under the reel to create that wounded, fleeing look, then vary the speed until bass, trout, steelhead, salmon, striped bass, bluefish, and other gamefish show you what they want. Each fly is tied on a strong Daiichi hook with a down eye, 1X strong wire, 2X long shank, and sproat bend for a durable streamer profile that handles a wide range of freshwater and saltwater species.
