I put the iap73mfs in a buddies hands, he is a charter Captain down in Cape Coral, FL. First thing he said was "wow this thing is lite." I have the tatula 3000 spinning reel it and man o man, they are crazy light.

Light, sensitive, and durable. On top of all that they are 100% American made. I couldn’t be happier with my Icons. Unbelievable!
American made perfection

I’ve been using Cashion Rods for a few years and love them. This new ICON is lighter, sexy as all get out with it’s unfinished glossy shine compared to the flat black finish we are used to and the gray/black Kevlar. Handle is redesigned with EVA foam for comfort keeping your finger off the threads and reel seat against the blank for the sensitivity. Hook keeper at the bottom and out of the way.
I love my new Icon. It feels light as a feather, and it feels great in the hand. I also love the unsanded texture. The only thing to complain about is the use of the EVA foam for the main handle instead of the Kevlar and carbon fiber mix. I understand that it's used in the butt grip, but who holds onto that when fishing? I'm still giving it a five star rating, because other than the switch of handle material, it's great.
Fantastic New Series

This is my 7th Cashion rod. It is truly an amazing value. I would put it up against more expensive G Loomis or Shimano rods any day.
