C.P. Swing Spinner
C.P. Swing Spinners are a classic tackle box staple. These inline spinners are great for a wide range of fish from panfish and trout to walleye and pike. The beaded bodies and scaled blades provide multiple reflective surfaces that flash during the retrieve, just like the natural scales of a fleeing baitfish or minnow.
- Brass models - brass blades and brass beaded bodies
- Silver-brass models - matte silver blades and brass beaded bodies
- Copper models - copper blades and copper beaded bodies
- Qty. per pack: 1

Best lure ever made
I mostly use the number 5 silver cp swing......its the most popular... used it for over 40 yesrs I used the lure in canada,ny state and nj and pa and s.carolina and florida ,,,always works better than any lure ,,,,I only use it casting from a boat close to shore ,,always casting toward shore and from the shore out and in rivers on boats or from shore,,,,,,,does'nt matter type of fish always catch trout bass pike perch panfish ,,,,,not good for carp or catfish.....i also use it in shallows of salt water.......stripped bass blue fish......works rain shine cloudy .....never worked for me in deep water so well ...only to shore or land casting out or water 5 feet or less

These work the best. I see other guys using different spinners, but I get more hook-on's with these. Even if trout is not biting, I can use the same spinner for large mouth bass. Heck, my son caught a 16in large mouth last weekend with it!
This is what you use first. Will not get to use much else

Used these 40 years ago. Hard to find but now you have. 4's are my favorites. Try not to tell to many of your friends, there will not be any trout left. There trout killers

Just one of many lures for undecided fish ! No lure works 100 percent, despite the marketing efforts ! Great to have in the assortment . Purchased the largest size for Bass to pike fishing . Have small size for trout.Works well !

GREAT FOR TROUT

QUALITY COMPONENTS. GREAT ACTION. EASY TO USE. I'VE USED THESE SPINNERS FOR 30 YEARS. THEY WERE THEN, AND ARE NOW, ONE OF THE BEST LURES FOR CATCHING TROUT IN RIVERS, STREAMS AND CREEKS. I JUST STARTED BUYING FISHING GEAR FROM FISH USA THIS YEAR AND I'M VERY PLEASED WITH THE SELECTION, SERVICE AND PRICES.
Have used for over 40 years

You only need Two lures for Trout. C P Swing #1, Thomas E Spin a close second. The E Spin is a little Heaver and runs a little deeper, which can mean snagging the bottom in shallow streams.
C. P. Swing Spinners Do The Trick

I have been using C. P. Swing Spinners for over 40 years. I have caught Trout, Steehead, Bluegills, Crappies, Channel Cats, Northern Pike, Bass, Muskies, White Bass, Smallmouths and Walleyes on these. A #3 or a #4 tipped With a minnow is deadly for Walleye and Northerns. I like casting these around the break walls at Erie for Smallmouths.
This is the first lure I ever used for catching trout. That was over 30 years ago. Since then I've used it to catch all kinds of fish in freshwater. It's one great lure.
Must have for spin-fishing trout anglers

As with several anglers' previous reviews here, I have used the C.P. Swing for several decades. It is a go-to trout lure for me when conditions are right; in particular, when the water has some color/stain to it due to recent rain and on dreary rainy days. Even though I pretty much exclusively use it in Missouri Ozark creek/stream/river fisheries for trout, I have caught both largemouth & smallmouth bass, goggle eye, bluegill/bream/sunfish, walleye and channel catfish, WHILE pursuing trout.
I don't like to be without one in my box

I let it drop about 4 to 5 feet than jerk an retrieve about 6 to 7 feet than let drop and start my jerk and drop catch most when the cp drops about a foot. It is very good around docks and brush. but best over weed beds about 7 foot under water.
Another Old Classic!
