When my old-school pin-on retractor finally succumbed, I got this zinger as I liked the three-foot length of the pull-out. It's a lot easier now to reach into the net with my forceps to remove hooks without touching the fish. I carry the forceps and a heavier-duty nipper on the ring. I could probably attach something else. The tool always retracts its line with a steady pull quickly and thoroughly.
