Berkley power bait

by -

Exactly what I was expecting received it very fast

Good thing to put on a jig head - durable and long lasting

This is one of the two kinds of Berkeley soft minnow bait type, the other is the Gulp minnow. The PowerBait minnow has a higher soft plastic content , is dryer and the scent is internal - these can be put on your hooks in advance. The Gulp minnow has a lower soft plastic content, is wetter and is made up of more ground up fishy organic matter - these shouldn't be put on hooks in advance as their salty juice will rust out hooks and generally stink up your tackle box. Both (PowerBait and Gulp) are excellent, the latter being used more like live bait. The advantage of the PowerBait minnows et c. is you can tip a whole box of assorted jig heads with these before you go out, and leave them on more or less permanently as they won't dry out in the tackle box. Excellent for both ice fishing and open water.
