The Berkley Gulp! Saltwater Jerk Shad covers water quickly with a sharp, erratic darting action that mimics a wounded baitfish, making it a go-to soft bait for aggressive feeders like redfish, snook, and sea trout. Its quick gliding movement triggers reaction strikes during twitch-pause retrieves, especially when worked around mangrove edges, grass flats, or drop-offs. Impregnated with Gulp!’s proven scent formula, the Jerk Shad creates a scent trail that draws fish in from greater distances than traditional soft plastics. Pair it with a weighted hook or jighead to adapt to current strength and depth.

• Darting action replicates struggling baitfish
