The Berkley CrackBack Shrimp Hard Bait imitates the erratic movements of a fleeing shrimp to draw explosive strikes from redfish, speckled trout, snook, flounder, and other inshore predators. Its distinctive upturned tail forces the lure to move naturally upward and backward, closely matching the escape behavior that gamefish key on around grass flats, oyster bars, mangroves, and docks. Sharp twitches produce an aggressive darting action that triggers instinctive reaction bites, while the variable diving depth lets anglers adapt their retrieve to changing water depths and cover. A high-strength ABS body and saltwater-rated hooks stand up to crushing strikes and repeated battles in demanding saltwater conditions.
