I use the 6 inch snubber on my mag 10s. They take all the sharp jolts out of the stop and go action. Saves on the riggers and for sure the cable and its connections. I generally use 12 pound weights and they stop and start very smoothly. They also make a great place to grab with your hand to haul in your weights instead of that skinny cable.
