The Abu Garcia Zenon CX Spinning Reel gives finesse anglers a featherlight, rigid reel for drop shotting smallmouth, skipping Ned rigs for bass, working walleye jigs, and casting light presentations for trout and panfish. Its Gen II magnesium one-piece body and A-Sym body design keep weight low while supporting the AMGearing system under load. The 6.2:1 gear ratio picks up slack quickly, while Rocket Line Management, Rocket Spool Lip, Rocket Slack Guard, and Rocket Line Clip help control fluorocarbon, braid, and light mono across multiple line sizes.

A Turbine spool trims spool weight without sacrificing strength, and the FCC Forged Compressed Carbon V-Rotor and handle arm add rigid, lightweight control through every retrieve. Inside, 10 stainless steel HPCR bearings, Salt Shield ball bearings for the pinion gear and line roller, plus one roller bearing keep the reel running smooth. The Carbon Matrix Drag System helps protect light leaders during surging runs, while the 3VA 3D-printed handle knob adds comfort with minimal weight. MagneTrip manual bail operation reduces weight, and instant anti-reverse gives solid hooksets with left-hand retrieve only.
