The Abu Garcia Ambassadeur C3 Catfish Round Casting Reel gives catfish anglers the cranking power, line control, and drag strength needed for soaking cut bait, drifting live bait, and pulling blue cats, flatheads, and channel cats from current, timber, rocks, and deep holes. Its Carbon Matrix drag system delivers smooth, consistent pressure during long runs, while the one-piece reel foot keeps the reel locked solidly to the rod under heavy load. The synchronized level wind system improves line lay and castability, helping manage heavy mono or braided line during long casts from the bank, boat, or anchored setups. A 6-pin centrifugal braking system on the 6500 size and a 4-pin centrifugal braking system on the 7000 size help control the spool, while the extended bent handle with power knobs gives anglers added leverage when fighting big fish close to cover.
