Description

UTC Ultra Thread 70 Denier is a strong, flat, smooth, lightly waxed, slow building nylon thread. UTC 70 is great thread for trout nymphs and dry flies in the 10 to 28 size. The breaking strength of this thread is about one pound. This thread helps to prevent bulky thread build when dividing wings and tapering heads.

This thread comes on spools containing 100 yards of material.

Please note: Dye color may vary depending on the batch.

UTC Ultra Thread 70 Denier is made in the U.S.A.

 Good thread
Pros: Durable, Easy To Use
Comments: UTC thread lays down nice and flat, has good strength, and is priced right. Best of all, made in the USA, highly recommended.
 Great Thread
Pros: Wide range of colors
Comments: Like most tyers, I've tried a wide range of threads but my favorite remains Ultra Thread. My local shops carry some, but not all colors and sizes so I was pleased to find everything I need at FishUSA and bought myself a "lifetime" supply. Great product, works best if you match the thread size to your fly sizes. Lays flat or you can spin it for a narrower look.
