Comments: Great little rod use it for big browns on lake Ontario what a fight can't beat it
 Great action
Pros: Flexible
Best Uses: Trolling trout up to 5lbs
Comments: Soft action helps to keep the hooks from ripping out of the soft mouths of Kokanee. Wish I could find them in longer lengths

Great rod for a great price
Pros: Sensitive, Good Tip Action, Lightweight
Best Uses: Large Fish, Small Fish
Comments: I bought this rod to use for trolling for trout on small high mountain lakes and I couldn't have selected a better platform. The rod is sensitive and has a great feel when fighting fish. This is my second Okuma rod and I would not hesitate to buy another one as the quality is right up there with the more expensive rods on the market.

 Okay for the price
Pros: Lightweight, Easy To Transport, Good Tip Action, Sensitive
Comments: I would recommend this rod only to someone wanting to spend as little money as possible for a trolling rod. $25 more buys one a much better rod (Lamiglass)
 Great light trolling rod!
Pros: Sensitive
Best Uses: Trolling trout up to 5lbs
Comments: I paired this rod up with a vintage Shimano Bantam Mag loaded with 6lb. fluorocarbon. I fish small lakes and reservoirs for trout from my small aluminum boat. Trolling small spoons and drifting live herring provide my omega-3.The rod is perfect for this type of fishing and if I ever catch the BIG ONE, I think it can handle it.

 Excellent rod
Pros: Durable, Good Tip Action, Flexible
Best Uses: Large Fish
Comments: The rod is used everyday for trout fishing with my downriggers. Caught a nice 11 pounder last Friday morning and the rod made a difference in getting the fish in the net or losing it. Held out well even with a lot of bend in it. Glad I bought it.

Pros: Good Tip Action, Easy To Transport, Good Backbone
Cons: cheap line guides
Best Uses: Cast Large Baits, Ocean Fishing, Large Fish
Comments: I have been looking for something to go one level in the weight class from my HMG Fenwick to cast 3-4 oz weights past the breakwater here on Long Island. 20# is the min with a solid casting reel (TICA Striper LE200). Great for long reach out and putting the bait at the fish.
