 Okuma Classic Pro GLT rods
Pros: great price, very light, durable
Cons: None
Best Uses: downrigger fishing
Comments: I fish the Great Lakes for a living and own several Okuma Classic Pro GLT rods. For downrigging, I like the medium light action, because you can really load it up and yet it has enough backbone to handle any fish that swims. You will enjoy fishing with this rod, because it is light, sensitive and it doesn't feel like you are fishing with a telephone pole. It makes fishing a lot more fun, because you feel the fish fight more. A great fishing rod for the price that will last many years.
Pros: Nice backbone
Best Uses: Trolling For Salmon
excellent value
Pros: great rods
Comments: great value for the low cost. comparable to much more expensive competition, lots of nice features wouldn't expect to find on reasonably priced equipment. 5 stars *****

 Great Downrigger Rod!!!
Pros: Great Action, great price, Look great for the money
Best Uses: Downrigger fishing
Comments: I bought one of these to replace a broken rod and liked it so much I ended replacing all my rods with them. The triangular grip feels great, the silicon wrap on the bottom handle lets me pull the rod out of the holder even when it's loaded with a big fish. It takes a great bend when running with tension on the downrigger but still has enough power to handle big kings. My wife is gonna kill me but I'm probably going to get a few more.

 10'6 Diver Rods
Pros: Durable, great price, Good Action, gets the job done
Comments: Excellent, gets your diver as far away from your riggers as possible. Or if you run 4 divers these are good rods for separation between high and low divers. Just add a twilli tip if you use wire.

 Excellent value
Pros: Accurate Casting, Good Action, Light Weight
Comments: I was looking for a longer rod to enable long casting with a small float. The rod behaves beautifully and is accurate. Handles large fish well for a lightweight rod.

 Okuma classic pro
Pros: Look great for the money
Cons: None yet
Best Uses: Downrigger fishing
Comments: Have not been able to use these rods yet , but if they perform as well as they look my down rigged are going to be busy! On a side note the packaging could be beefed up for rod delivery because the post office looked like they did their best to break them, though they did come out unscathed.

 Trolling Rods
Pros: Sturdy, just works
Cons: Some rods had plastic on the handles when shipped
Comments: I purchased six Okuma Classic Pro GLT Trolling Rods so that I could use them for trolling with wire line on Lake Erie. These rods are stout and the triangular grips make holding the rods easier. These are compact for storage compared to my other trolling rods and are well suited for either steelhead or walleye.
 Great Rigger Rods

Best Uses: Downrigger fishing, salmon trolling
Comments: Ive used the rigger, copper/leadcore, and dipsy rods they are all good and worth the $.

 Decent Rods
Pros: Durable, Flexible
Best Uses: trolling, Large Fish
Comments: Use mostly trolling for walleye and salmonids. Good for handling drag from 8-10 color lead and planer boards. All metal eyes minimize chafing of lead core sheath and subsequent breakage.

Okuma Trolling Rod Review By Kevin
Pros: Durable, Good Tip Action, Reputable, Economical, Flexible
Best Uses: Large Fish, trolling
Comments: I fish for Walleye on Erie, and Trout/Salmon on Ontario. I need a rod that can serve double duty for both, and the Okuma products does so perfectly. In addition to diversity, value is second to none.

 Good product great price!
Pros: Lightweight, Durable, Easy To Transport, Accurate Casting
Cons: Too Stiff
Best Uses: Large Fish, Lake Fishing, Downrigger fishing
Comments: this will be used for trolling for lake fishing and possibly on the downrigger. Eyes seem durable and decent flex to the rod. The only thing is that although it has okay flex it could be better. But overall seems like a great rod.

Good Great Lakes in-line planer bd rods
Pros: Durable, LG Guides good backbone
Best Uses: Large Fish, Trolling in-line boards
Comments: The 8'6" rods are perfect for trolling in-line planer boards for salmon. They have enough backbone to fight big fish and they pull planer boards with ease when using heavy lines like Copper and Leadcore. Plus the line guides have lg diameter holes so the knots will make it through without hanging up. I'm very pleased with these rods for Great Lakes Salmon fishing.
