Report: Wednesday evening onboard the Edward-John. Capt.John "The Ole Perchhound" and JP " The Junior Perchhound" moved the boat 5 times and tried different water depths but the Perch just were not biting very good. 36 anglers caught approx. 90 Perch. A few anglers caught some large Sheepshead and had a good time with that. A lot of Gobies and a few White Perch rounded out the evening. That why it's called fishing.

Report: Wow!
From one extreme to the other...one day, you were hard pressed to get a few bites from Lake Erie's infamous walleye. The next day, you could drop a hot dog over the side of the boat and catch one!

This past weekend(6/27-28) proved to be the best of the year when it came to the perch and walleye fishing!

6/27
Capt. Mike on Buckets 5 reports fantastic perch fishing off the Condos in 55FOW.
The usual bait, emerald shiners on the bottom, did the trick with customers taking home a 6-man limit(180) of perch.

6/28
Capt. Dan(Buckets 5) and Capt. Ken(Buckets 3) report fantastic walleye fishing from Elk Creek to the Condos in 25-35FOW.
Bangos and Reef Runners off the boards took the fish.
Both boats finished up their day with 4-man limits each.

6/29
Capt Dan ran a morning and evening trip today on Buckets 5.
Identical report from 6/28...same areas, same lures. The only thing different...36 walleyes were boxed in the morning and 17 were iced during the evening! He got chased off the lake Sunday evening by howling westerly winds!

Report: Went out perching saturday evening with Capt Matt of Chasin Steel Charters. WOW we dropped anchor at about 5:00pm and had 120 perch in the boat in 2 hours, we were being very very picky toward then end only keeping jumbos. He is first class and you cant beat the price we were catching them on just about every drop lots of doubles and a few triples but the quaility of fish was unreal. Matt runs a first class operation.
