          I bought the SPMS120MH2 in preparation for a trip to the OBX this summer. I have paired it with a Penn Spinfisher 7500 LC. and #30 spider wire braid. It arrived yesterday so I tested it in my yard this morning. With 3 oz I averaged 118 yds (laser measured) and with 4 oz was able to launch a cast of 143 yds and was able to average 83 with an easy cast. The only thing I'd like to see them add is a hook keeper. Overall a good solid unit.

          This is review if the SPMS120H2. Very good service and I choose the 2nd day shipping for a few bucks extra. Rod arrived in a heavy cardboard tube and well padded. This rod uses a spigot type ferrule so don't jam it together read the instructions if you're not familiar with it. The rod is fairly light weight and powerful and will handle 5oz and bait well. Fuji guides, constructed well and looks great. The rod is paired with a Penn Spinfisher VI 6500LC reel and 40lb braid it bombs 5oz +150yds off the ground, measured on the field. Very impressed for $150 rod I've rods that cost well over twice as much that throw no better.
