Description

In Tying Classic Wet Flies, Don Bastian explains that traditional wet flies ruled they waters for most of fly fishing history, but these effective patterns have been over-looked by a generation of fly tiers and anglers.

This DVD is the first devoted exclusively to these patterns and tying techniques. Don Bastian demonstrates detailed methods for tying quill, flank, married and mixed wing wet flies with a variety of body materials. In addition, you will learn many useful material techniques that can be used on other modern flies.

The patterns covered are as follows:

  • Gray-Hackle Peacock
  • Cahill
  • Yellow Sally
  • Rich Widow
  • Cupsuptic
  • Trout Fin
  • Parmachene Belle
  • Professor

This DVD is approximately 1 hour 52 minutes in length.
