It comes pre-spooled with 6 lb. Shakespeare Supreme monofilament. This combination comes prepackaged and also features a tackle assortment which includes bobbers, jigs, hooks, assorted grubs, a stringer to hold your catch and non-lead sinkers.

Comments: Great value for what comes in the package, but very cheap line that's been sitting on the reel for far too long. I recommend you buy some spider wire and you'll be good to go.

Comments: I have 5 Ugly Stik Rods and I really like them. That is why I wanted to order it for a gift. I wanted the light action Rod as stated on the description. It came as a medium action rod. I didn't get what I ordered. It was too close to Christmas to send it back.
