The Glo Beetle fly was developed by Great Lakes steelhead anglers and is a cross between the popular sucker spawn and glo bug fly patterns. The back of the fly resembles the shape of a beetle tied in glo bug yarn along with a chenille body. This fly is popular for use on steelhead and trout.
