Great Rods!!!
Pros: Super Sensitive, very light weight, very strong, very responsive, easy to cast, plenty of backbone
Cons: Price.....
Best Uses: Salmon, Steelhead, and trout
Comments: I have the 10' 7wt, the 10' 8wt, and the 9' 5wt so far. I have used the 10' 7wt for steelhead and the 10' 8wt for salmon and could not be more pleased with them. Both rods have a surprising amount of power and backbone for rods that are so light. I primarily fish with indicators using the Rio Switch line; these rods handle the heaver line very well and allow me to roll cast larger indicators and heavier nymphs in heavier flows. Again, couldn't be more pleased. I have not used the 9' 5wt yet but purchased it based on my experience with the 7wt and 8wt. I cannot wait to get on the water with it!!!. Granted, the prices are not cheap and are pretty hard to swallow... but once you use one, you will not regret it.
