The Wolff Indiana Atlas Fly Tying Vise sets the standard for a quality, American-made full rotary vise. The Atlas features machined stainless steel construction, hardened, tool steel jaws with hook grooves and a material clip, all with the convenience of 360 degree rotation for viewing flies at all angles. The teflon bushings provide a smooth feel for accurate tying. The jaws hold hooks from monster 7/0 down to 32.

The Atlas Fly Tying Vise includes a c-clamp and pedestal base, a feature not often found on the fly tying vise market today. This gives you the option of tying at home with a sturdy c-clamp or on the road with a convenient pedestal.

Comments: The name describes this vice perfectly. Very durable and will perform well for many years. Rotary function is smooth and easily adjustable. One of the best features is the pedestal base. Very heavy and stable and the blue color is nice. A minor point, the base collar on the stem tends to loosen and needs frequent tightening.

Comments: I have used this vise for three years. Not the finest machining, but the name Anvil should say it all. Stable base, great C-Clamp, strongest jaws I have experienced with a great range for hooks. I used a Renzetti Traveler Cam for 5 years before buying the Anvil. I like the durability and design of the Anvil better. Better value, more stable, heavier with better range. The traveler is just that, a travel vise for me now.
