The Adams is one of the most fished dry flies, even today with many anglers casting more exacting imitations. This fly imitates many mayfly species and was originally tied as a caddis pattern, with down wings.
These flies are tied on Mustad or Dai-Riki hooks and are hackled with Hoffman (Whitting Farms) hackle.
