    I like these blades for making the first cut as it is easier to turn the blade to run down the spine of panfish mainly, white perch and yellow perch. I actually use two knives, one for the first cut and another with a flat 9 inch Mr. Twister blade to cut the fillet off the skin. I use these in a Mr. Twister knife, just grind off the tail end corner.

    American angler makes good products that I have been using for many years. Would have given this 5 stars but the replacement blades are made in CHINA! How can a company call itself American Angler when they make there products in China?
